Three stories intersect on an underground platform on a festive day. A woman and her husband, the same woman and her lover, two sisters who meet to join their parents at Christmas lunch. But the underground does not pass.

The woman, accompanied to the platform by her husband and waited for at the same platform by her lover, questions her choice; on the one hand she is projected towards the future with her lover, towards a train that will take her away, on the other hand she is nailed to the past, to her love for her husband.

The two sisters talk for the first time in many years. Since the older sister left, abandoning the younger one, they have lost the complicity they had as children, which saw them share everything, the good things and also the bad.

The announcement that the underground will not pass transforms the times and the reactions of these five characters; the three stories contaminate and nourish each other, allowing them to move out of the wait and into life.
